Prairiez is a mixed-race multi-instrumentalist, engineer and performer born and based in the UK.
Her eclectic musical influences come from a deep fascination with the evolution of language and storytelling, as well as a reverence for innovation and rebellion in literary and music history. These elements serve as inspiration for self-producing her own work.
Her musical journey began as a way to find community and make friends. As a young teen, she connected with other musicians through the internet, leading her to perform at various venues with rock bands in local cities and remote towns.
Regardless of the venue size or event type, her performances are professional, high-energy and draw on her experience as a front-person and temp vocalist for bands in her local independent music scene.
Each project influenced the development of her own sound, and the overarching goal to support grassroots artists and venues.
